Our team is a vibrant tapestry of cultures and experiences, creating a dynamic and inclusive workplace. With 64% of our core team being women and 45% being international, we blend the enthusiasm of youth with the wisdom of experience. This diversity is central to our ethos, fostering creativity and innovation in everything we do.


Longevity and loyalty are hallmarks of our workforce, with many team members having been with us for numerous years. Notably, three of our staff members began their careers as apprentices and have since advanced to senior positions, reflecting our commitment to internal development and recognizing talent.

 

Take Nina Woytowitz, our Junior Sous Chef, and Moritz Meyer, our Head of Operations and Events, for example. Both started their careers with Cookies Events & Catering as apprentices. Over the past few years, they have risen through the ranks, demonstrating our commitment to fostering growth and career advancement. We believe in continuous investment in our team’s professional and personal development. Regular workshops and training sessions ensure that everyone has the opportunity to enhance their skills. Founder and CEO, Jennifer Florin and head Chef Ronja Geiger hold official certificates from the IHK (German Chamber of Industry and Commerce), to train young talents to become chefs and event managers.

 

Recently, Androsch Wanders, our Logistics Lead, completed his Class C Truck License and Forklift training, further expanding his expertise and contributing to our operational excellence.

 

Understanding our team’s needs and areas for improvement is paramount. We conduct regular surveys to gather valuable feedback, especially from those hired for specific events. A recent survey revealed that 83.3% of employees find working at our events very enjoyable and fulfilling, highlighting our positive and supportive work environment.
